Sensory-Friendly and Family-Friendly Night

GSMT welcomes attendees with mental and/or physical disabilities and it’s part of our mission to create an inclusive and safe environment and open doors to theater for those who might not otherwise have access.

Attendees who struggle with sitting still, volume control, low lighting, and/or scent/smell sensitivities are encouraged to attend our sensory-friendly open dress rehearsal.

In our sensory- friendly version of the show we will be using less dramatic lighting and softer sound design. We will tone down the violent themes of the show, offer ear plugs and fidget toys, and ask attendees and cast/crew to forgo use of artificial scents for this show. While this will be more suitable for children, we encourage you to ask questions and use your own discretion.

Our donation-based open dress rehearsal aims to remove the cost barrier for those who want to see local theater shows. Pay-What-You-Can! $1? $5? $25? Any donation will gain you entry! Tickets are first-come, first-served.
